Rules and Regulations!

Updated: Apr 23, 2021

Breezy Creek Adventures wants you to have a fabulous time however, we do have to state some rules and regulations to insure we have a safe trip! Please know - we have no intentions of being the "fun police" but we do instill SAFETY FIRST. Please read the following and know that when you arrive, you will be required to sign a form stating that you have read and understand the following:

BOAT SAFETY RULES:

  • No alcohol consumption will be allowed on the boat however, non-alcoholic beverages as well as snacks (no sunflower seeds) are welcome for hydration purposes.

  • No form of intoxication will be allowed at anytime - we reserve the right to cancel a trip if we suspect this to be an issue and will not refund your deposit.

  • Anyone under the age of 16 must wear a life jacket at all times. All are encouraged to wear life jackets particularly with children to "set a good example". Please advise if you do not have any - we have some available for rental.

  • Our boat is a "smoke free" environment.

  • Passengers must TRY to remain seated at all times. We know things can get exciting but this is also when accidents can happen. Communication is key!

  • A clean boat is a SAFE boat and we need to preserve our waterways! I pride myself on my equipment and keeping it in clean condition. Snacks are permitted but one must clean up after themselves. No sun flower seeds allowed. No debris will be permitted over the boat - garbage bags will be provided.

PROPERTY SAFETY RULES:

A safe and fun trip is always our priority! We understand that children can get very excited and get a little out of control. We have patience (and experience) in this but we do want you as the parent/guardian to enforce the following:

  • Upon arrival to our property, we ask you to immediately put on life jackets as we are very close to the water.

  • We ask that attention is given on and around the shoreline where rocks can be slippery.

  • Our dock is a floating dock and quite stable however, we ask parents/guardians practice "safe hand holding" of little ones.

  • No running on the approach to the dock or on the dock itself and no swinging on dock railings.

  • Anyone with mobility issues - please do advise us before arrival so that we can do our best to work with you!

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS:

We will require proof of a valid Manitoba fishing licence for all those required to have one. You can get them online here: https://www.manitobaelicensing.ca/licensing.page

Please consider downloading and reviewing the following 2021 Manitoba Anglers Guide.
